John Cockburn

John, the team principal, has many strings to his bow, driver, navigator, tutor and event organiser. He has been competing successfully since 1983 in Cross Country events at every level, and car rallying at club level. In 2007 he advanced Maxtraction from a specialist suspension company to the rally support company it is now. Maxtraction now facilitates Cross Country rallying for those who don't wish to support their own vehicles or want to hire a vehicle to try the sport for the first time.

Paul Williamson

Paul, a long standing friend of John Cockburn, has been associated with the team as a sponsor, in the form of his company Tomcat Motorsport, and in the last two years as a mechanic and contractor. He is also a sucessful competitor in his own right with several ALRC and Hillrally results to his name, most recently racing on of his own Tomcats in the rally Rekyavik to good effect.
