| The Wildcat 200 |
INTRODUCTION
The wildcat 200 is a highly competitive off road racing car with a well proven track record.
It has had notable successes at National level with a number of top class drivers piloting the car to top Honours in the Hill Rally and BCCC Championships. On the international circuit the Wildcat has a stunning reputation for rugged reliability in the many Rally Raid events including the Dakar where it has beaten many top works cars to top twenty finishes.

The lightweight tubular space frame chassis provides a rigid safety cell to protect the driver and navigator. The radiator is centrally mounted to improve weight balance and cooling in arduous conditions. A 375 litre fuel cell gives the Wildcat the range to tackle even the longest marathon stages.
Importantly for customers the Wildcat is supported by an enthusiastic team who build and support the cars from QT Services as well as comprehensive spares back up.

Engine
The Wildcat is available with a range of engine options to suit various disciplines. For National specification cars this is normally the 4.6 rover engine, and for Dakar spec cars the 4.0 litre Rover or Jaguar is the preferred option.
The new developments with the TDV6 diesel offer superb performance with good economy.

Transmission
The transmission is a 5-speed Land Rover Defender heavy duty unit with a 1.41:1 or 1.66:1 Land Rover Defender transfer box.

Suspension
Standard Wildcat suspension consists of long travel coil springs and twin remote reservoir dampers. A new coil-over suspension system using fast rebound 60mm Donerre Lithium dampers is also available. The Donerre dampers are three way adjustable with the patented fast rebound control system providing even better traction and stability at high speed. These have been developed in conjuction with QT especially for the Wildcat.

Front Axle
The front axle is fitted with reinforced half shafts and CV joints and a heavy duty or torque biasing differential. Braking is provided by high performance large diameter vented disc brakes and four pot billet callipers. Standard differential ratio is 3.54:1

Rear Axle
The rear axle is also fitted with heavy duty half shafts and a locking or torque biasing differential. Again braking is provided by specially designed vented discs and 4 pot callipers. |
